Please read.. People are tired of the hearing the Racism, Schmacism garbage. I agree.
I don’t give a rats ass if someone is a racist, not a racist, etc. She is 100% right on. And, I only belong to the rougish town hallers. The Tea-Party is way too sweet for this bitter ‘tea-er’ as well. You Tea Partiers need to tell the left-wing morons to go to hell.
By Hadassah Bat Noah:
I have decided to drop out of the Tea Party Movement, for reasons which I will explain. I have been a conservative activist for 33 years, and have sometimes worked alone, so this will not be a new thing for me. I intend to still support the financial and social aims of the Tea Party Movement, as a “freelancer” so to speak.
I have watched the Tea Party Movement descend into the insanity of walking right into the trap set for it by the Left with the race-baiting. The state of the nation, and how Obama was destroying America.
Now, all I seem to hear about is “we’re not racist”, “Martin Luther King was a Republican”, “we are colorblind”, yada yada, ad nauseum. I did not attend Glenn Beck’s rally in DC for this reason. I’m sorry, but I’m not playing the rainbow conservative game. I’m not going to drag every black person I see to a Tea Party rally to “prove” we’re “not racist”. I frankly don’t give two damns if people think I’m “racist”.
The thing the Tea Party needs to grasp is: TO THE LEFT EVERY WHITE PERSON IS RACIST, BECAUSE THE TERM ‘RACIST’ IS A CODE FOR WHITE CONSERVATIVES. This is why you will NEVER prove to them you are “not racist”, and you shouldn’t even waste time trying. Because as long as you focus on that, you won’t have the time to discuss what is really important, which is Obama, taxes, the economy, the war. WHICH IS EXACTLY THE WAY THE LEFT WANTS IT TO BE.
I would like to ask you all to please order this book: Racism, Schmacism by James Edwards. Its available from Amazon.com and after you finish it,you will understand clearly why the Left uses this charge even though for mostly all Tea Partiers, it has no basis in fact. This is a strategy of the Left which began many decades ago in Germany, from leftist thinkers called the Frankfurt School Movement first began (in early 2009, I remember the very first TP rally in February of 2009!), the focus was on taxes, & Cultural Marxism. The intent was to invent code words (sexism, racism) that would be useful to silence conservative opposition.
Most Tea Partiers are new to politics; most are naive. The Left recognized this, and used the race card as they saw fit. Many of you walked right into their trap and fell for it. Now you spend all your time, finding black conservatives to put up there on the stage, praising Martin Luther King Jr (who was a communist, by the way, not to mention a womanizer and plagiarist…hardly a role model for anyone let alone conservatives), and basically doing the “Kumbaya” thing.
You will NEVER convince the Left that you are not “racist” because anytime white people get together, they see “racism”. Because “racist” is a code term for “white conservative”. You need to grasp this. And while I’m at it, you should also know that you will never convince more than a handful of blacks to vote Republican. Blacks like Big Government because for many of them, Big Government pays their bills. Expecting them to suddenly become conservatives that we can go marching off into the rainbow conservative sunset with singing “We Shall Overcome” is naive and costly; its like expecting AARP to suddenly come out against Social Security. Ain’t gonna happen!
The insanity of trying to “prove” we’re not “racist” was costly in another way. It caused the RNC to choose Michael Steele, an incompetent man if there ever was one, all to stave off charges of “racism” and so we Republicans could also have a magic negro like Obama. Well, our magic negro took the RNC’s reserve of money for campaigns from 22 million down to 9 million (I heard its now 5 million), in a futile effort to “reach out” to the black community with a “hip hop” Republican message. Please, spare me. WHY would a community, many of whose members depend on the government handouts given to them by liberal Democrats and who only comprise 13% of the US population, switch to our side? They would have to be insane!
I’m sorry for this lengthy vent. I’ve needed it. I was with the Tea Party Movement in its infancy; from the very first rally, I was there. But I have watched it deteriorate into a conservative Kumbaya-fest, and I’m tired of it.
