SERIOUS: Zechariah Chapter 12 זְכַרְיָה

Go to fullsize imageWe must pray for the remnant left in Japan and show mercy, kindness and love. We are NOT to ever rejoice in the day of suffering against fellow man-  But, their government, like ours, has also turned on God.  God will judge the nations for this evil hatred against the PEOPLE of Israel, not the govt, the PEOPLE.  Things dont happen just because, they happen, JUST.

Zechariah 12: 3 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a stone of burden for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.

  1. It does make you think, when you look at everything going on. I respect the Japanese people, but they’ve gone for such a materialistic lifestyle and turned their backs on their Christian, Buddhist, and Shinto backgrounds. The art, science, and even numbering system that the Arabs spread throughout the Mediterranean (at sword-point, granted) has shifted to upheaval and civil war. Even here in America, we’ve allowed entire groups of political and economic leaders run roughshod over our way of life, when the simple direction of our various religions warned us of upheaval. I find it REALLY interesting that the large cities, with their wide selection of “religious choices” are the most lawless and bankrupt, financially AND morally, while a little hick town like my current home is not only able to keep its’ own head above water in ALL things, but help to feed, clothe, and employ people from nearby VERY rural areas.
It really worries me how big a WHACK upside the head it’s gonna take to get people thinking straight again.

  2. Well, the bible does not lie.
I read all 3 books that I believe are right, The Torah, Tanakh and The New Testament/Christian Bible.
ITs all written, and this scripture in Zech is of latter day, not former. All of the prophecies of the end ages are in the books of the prophets in the Tanakh and also bigtime in the book of Revelations. Of course Jews get pissed when I quote that and a lot of Christians get pissed when I quote the Torah/O.T., but to me? The word of God is FOREVER and EVER.
Haiti was also a people of Israel-hater country.
I make this distinction of the PEOPLE of Israel vs the govt of Israel, b/c imo, the govt of Israel is super shoddy and corrputed.

  3. ALSO, because this happened to Japan which really has been a total ally, does NOT mean that people are supposed to just ‘rejoice’.
Israel sent LARGE humanitarian aid to Japan, and that was kind, we are to be the same and pray for our fellow man in Japan that God will PLEASE have mercy on friends and family over there.

  4. This is in the book of Matthew, the N.T.:
    Mark:

13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

    ALSO:
» Psalm 18:7: Then the earth shook and trembled, the foundation of the hills also quaked and were shaken, because He was angry.
» Isaiah 24:20: The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and totter like a hut; its transgression shall be heavy on it, and it will fall, and not rise again.
» Isaiah 29:6: You will be punished by the Lord of hosts with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with storm and tempest and the flame of devouring fire.

  5. Re: Japans stong statements….Aha! So Israel caused the Quake?!

  6. “Israel” ’caused’ the quake? Looks like the Japanese government hates Israels gutts, and was treating Gods land like crap. Things dont just ‘happen’, Karen.

Japan signs $32.5 million agreement for treating waste water in Jericho; has given Palestinian Authority more than $1.1 billion since their establishment

Dr Fayyad and Naofumi Hashimoto, representative of Japan to the PNA, signed a $32.5 million agreement for the project of treating the waste water in Jericho.

Dr Fayyad pointed out that this important, vital, and strategic project falls under the PNA’s plan that aims at the establishment of the institutions of the state of Palestine and its infrastructure. It also comes in concordance with the strategy set by the Japanese Government to support the PNA in the fields of development, improvement of the infrastructure, and enhancement of the ability of the PNA to offer services not only in terms of infrastructure, but in diverse social, educational, and other domains. He said: “Ever since its establishment, Japan has offered the PNA more than $1.1 billion.”

He added: “I single out the interest of the Japanese Government in executing projects in Jericho and in the Jordan Valley, where it implemented projects totalling $40 million, including roads, schools, and important vital utilities in this important area of our country in the Jordan Valley. We count on the implementation of more initiatives and projects that our people were deprived of because of the Israeli measures that aim at isolating this area.”

Japan condemns the demolishing of a part of the Shepherd’s Hotel in E. Jerusalem to construct housing for Jewish people

Japan condemns the demolishing of a part of the Shepherd’s Hotel in East Jerusalem with a view to constructing new housing units for Jewish people.

Japan does not recognize any unilateral measures that prejudge the final resolution on pre-1967 borders, nor does Japan recognize the annexation of East Jerusalem by Israel.

In this regard, Japan urges Israel to refrain from any unilateral act that could change the existing conditions of East Jerusalem.

Ambassador Yutaka Iimura, Special Envoy of the Government of Japan for the Middle East, who was in Israel, has already informed Israeli Government officials of Japanese views.

Japan once again strongly encourages both the Israel and the Palestinian sides to focus on the goal of a two-state solution, which is important not only for the Middle East but also for the international community as a whole; to act in such a way that mutual trust will be developed; and to continue efforts for peace tenaciously.

Japan-look what they did ON the day of their devastation:
March 11, 2010: The Government of Japan deplores the decisions of Israel to construct housing in E. Jerusalem and in the West Bank

The Government of Japan deplores the decisions of the Government of Israel to give permission for the construction of 1,600 housing units in East Jerusalem in addition to 112 units in West Bank just after the Israeli and Palestinian leadership’s acceptance of the start of indirect talks.

The Government of Japan does not recognize any act that prejudges the final status of Jerusalem and the territories in the pre-1967 borders
