I’m So NOT Looking Forward To This…

I just cant stand it. Just a week and a day before the surgeon slices my guts open. Every time I think of it, I cringe. I cant stand it. I hate pain. I can take emotional pain, but surgery is so for the friggin birds. Hopefully none of you have to go through this shit. I cant get it out of my head.  I see the KNIFE….cutting into my GUTS.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH I made this collage to express my intense frustration and AGONYYYYYYYYYYY.

I'm So Not Looking Forward To This

  1. MJ, I started doing a search on “mental preparation for surgery” and found this article. (There are, of course, many such articles)

I’ve been “under” for a sinus operation and for two hemorrhoid operations. I just think in terms of “that’s what they gotta do for me to get better”. I think in terms of drilling a hole in the ground to get to oil, water…whatever is needed down there.

In each case of being put under, I only remember a mask going over my face, someone saying “take deep breaths”….and then going out like a light. Hope this helps.

  2. How come you are the only Jew here with me?
Makes me sick that no Jews hardly comment or come here.
    Probably because I am a Jew-Tian.

  3. Hang in there tight, sister. Meditate. Focus. Repeatedly say: this too will pass.
Buddhist monks do this all the time when they have to face terminal cancer.
Most recover and continue to live for another 30 years.

  4. Excellent question. David Horowitz has written about “the religious roots of radicalism”. Henry Makow has gone toe-to-toe with the organized Jewish community in his neighborhood. I stopped associating with Jews (for the most part) because the majority of them are sucked into the whole marxist/feminist/libtard matrix.

  5. MJ, you may have some post-op pain, but your hospital should have that base covered with “pain-pumps” where you can yourself administer pain meds as needed. If they will give you pills and then send you home right away, get your pain pills BEFORE you go in. That may take a little pressure on them, but they will do it if you put the bite on them.

  6. I consider it an honor that you come here and hearing everything you feel. Its the same as my husband and I feel.

  7. Oh MJ,, just think, you will not have that excessive pain any longer. Thank God they aren’t Cancerous. Make sure you have all the pain meds and the HRT ready when you come home.

You will be in many peoples Prayers.

    You should rest all week.

    All my love, Donna

  8. Sis, It will help if you just try to think of scenic rivers and valleys that are so peaceful and pure, that anyone with half a brain could not deny that God is there, and make plans for things you want to do after you get home. concentrate on these, and those of us who love you.
The thoughts of beautiful places will calm your nerves, and the others will warm your heart, and give you perseverance, and you will be just fine.
I did those things before back surgery, and believe it or not, I still had staples all down my front from having half my stomach removed in an emergency operation. four days after, with stitches in back, and staples in front, I got on a gold wing motorcycle, and rode it over three hundred miles. I had always wanted a gold wing, and got it just before the first surgery. I thought of peaceful surroundings, friends, family, and that darn Gold Wing. at the time, I was fifty years old.I hate liberals, needles, and doctors. (in that very order), but refuse to let ANY of them get me down.

    DITTO!!!!!!

  10. Dear Pauli, you’re a very strong and high quality lady. The Lord has blessed you in many ways.
He’ll use this proceedure to get you back to 100% and you’re gonna be fine.
    Praying for you always,
    steve

  11. MJ, I wanted to bring up a base you may not have covered yet: the hospital stay after the surgery, My guess is that they will keep you a day or two afterwards. I have always found hospital stays very stressful. My solution is audio and visual privacy, For the visual, a $5 sleep mask. For the audio, a cheapie mp3 player (plus headphones) that runs off a AAA battery (keep a few spare batteries, also). Hope this helps.
