Celebrate Sunday & The New Week With Hits From The 50’s

My husband is a huge 1950’s fan, he LOVES doo-wop.  So, you must know: Our home is all 1950’s decor. Lucy dining table, Lucy bar stools, diner prints, sunbeam girl–you name it, the 50’s are alive and well in this house I live in.  So, I made a retro-set/mixed media collage, waxed nostalgic for you to enjoy and kick back and listen to the old songs:

Rock Around the Clock:

Rockin Robin:

Stagger  Lee:

Run Around Sue, 1961:

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!

I had a good brunch, but I am totally exhausted since we went to a round of antique shops.
My mom is really a tough gal, she is 65 yrs old and she can outdo me!

  4. I love antique shops. Even when I don’t find anything. Those shops take you back to the earlier times in our history that we are enamored with.

  5. Yes, I miss the 80’s.
When I was growing up, I lived in Hampton Bays, Long Island, it was a town 40 years behind the times.
    I sure miss my country.
    BADLY.

  6. There are many other Americans that miss those days. We have to keep the faith and fight for our country.
