Happy July 4th For Patriotic Senior Citizens

Most of my life is spent entertaining the VETS of WW2. And singing to that generation because THEY DESERVE IT.  It is not because I ‘can’t make it.’  (I sing at plenty of other places, as well, but CHOOSE the elderly over that, even though it is more $$ to entertain inother places.)  It is because nobody else deserves the kindness that HaShem enables me to bestow upon our seniors, many whom are taken care of by 3rd world scum who couldn’t care less if they live or die. Ditto many of their own damned children, who are (many times) spoiled, rotten BRATS.

To the rest of you; It is time to reflect.  Just what has happened to this nation?  This is not our America.  If we refuse to see that this is not our country and stop the lies within our spirit about  ‘America being exceptional’ from our sense of false pride, then we are all doomed.   Not being able to see when your own nation is so far gone is truly a blindness.  Where is the spirit of liberty? I feel it not. Where is justice? There is none. Where are innocent babies? We murder them.  What happened to marriage?  Fags now marry and persecute those that are straight and married.  CRAZY leftists want to ‘outlaw holy marriage.’

Observe the above collage and observe it well.  This WAS America.  Even the ‘pin-ups’ are wholesome compared to the debauchery now. We made fabulous cars, great movies, wonderful music.  People didnt mix with others, keeping each individuals ethnicity intact.   This is what I grew up in. And I thank GOD everyday that when I was young, everyone was patriotic. Every single child and kid I knew LOVED singing American songs.  We were pure and innocent as kids.  When I was a child, the spirit of liberty was so thick, one could cut it.  When we went to the July 4th parade in Southhampton, LI, NY–they would sing the Star Spangled Banner and women would cry, mens hats came off. Kids sung loud and proud.  They saluted the troops that played in the bands.  Young people now have NO grounding, no country.  What in the hell are you without a country??!! And we REFUSE to see that we have SCREWED this nation 6 ways to Sunday by not observing Jefferson’s famous words that “every generation (20 years) we should have a revolution to keep the government honest.”

Now….We have an ILLEGAL sitting in the White House and all over America on July 4, people are celebrating “American exceptional-ism?”   WHAT AMERICAN EXCEPTIONAL-ISM?  ARE WE FRICKING INSANE?

Song for the SENIORS only.

The rest of you:

  1. Elvis’s American Trilogy is my VERY FAVORITE for more than one reason.
    1) He joined the service himself. He was NOT drafted.
    2) The Trilogy is, as far as I am concerned, extremely important for what is going on today in Our Own Country.

I was not an Elvis fan until I was an adult and went with friends to see him in concert in Dallas. Usually, there is far too much hoopin’ and hollerin’ during a concert; BUT! For this one song, everyone was silent until the end — and standing all together. When he finished, the house came down!

The Man Exudes Love of America. I have lost count of the amount of times I have heard this son. I have sent it out to many of my Yankee Friends (lol, those who live above the Mason Dixon Line); and now they know the passion we feel and felt for the South.

  2. Outstanding Excellent, beautiful Polyvore.

    Thank you so MJ!

  3. An Excellent Tribute to Seniors, MJ.
May their remaining years be kind to them.
May they still enjoy the tweet of the bird,
    the smell of lavender,
May the gentle breeze caress them
with nice memories of days gone
May, when eternity calls, they are ready

  4. Amen, QV, they deserve it.

    Off to eat.
Cant stand this blog right now. Makes me angry, cant live in anger every day.

    God bless you seniors.

  5. Yankee Doodle Dandy…. my mom’s favorite movie! Use to be, those big movie studios were high on patriotism ..always waving “old Glory” And the cartoons from WWII…wonderful! Bugs and the gang were ALWAYS kicking the crap outta the nazis & the Japs! But patriotism is gone with the Wind! The movie stars, today, are to busy kicking the crap outta the USA! We were “Wrong” to have wealthiest & healthiest people on earth! Most people today are not faith based. Most people today are not proud of our country…..it’s been a long time in the making … but I think that’s since Obama has been in charge…it all came to a head..and exploded! It’s his watch so it’s his responsibility. But we all know what a wuss that fraud is!

I’ll just get into a long rant on what a crumb OblameO is and it won’t do much good…since I’m preaching to the choir here!

Everyone have a GREAT 4th of July. Stay safe!

  6. I will share a big scandal in my family. I wasn’t told until I was in my 40’s. Seems there were brothers on my mother’s side of the family that were in the War Between the States. One brother chose to fight for the South while the Other chose to fight for the North. I am wondering now how what is coming up will also divide families.

  7. Paula, I remember those!!!! Even after the movies with Tyronne Power, Greer Garson, etc. were “repeats” on our Black and White TV, we sat as a family to watch them.

  8. This was a bitter time. No one really knew why our high school friends, my cousin, and children got involved in this war…Vietnam.
The country was divided. Things were changing over night. This was after those of us born, as war babies, understood. We were confused about this. Me? I stood back and watched not understanding after having lost my cousin and friends die there. I say my cousin died. We never knew what happened to him. He isn’t listed on the wall. His mother was told he was dead; but there was no body.

  9. If you are NOT a Senior… allow me.
Cherish EVERY single moment…the good, the painful; the joy and the times of shame and sorrow.
They strengthen your Soul and make you strong.

  11. This is great:

Why the 4th of July is a sad day

The 4th of July is sad day because it should mean something but it doesn’t anymore. Somehow, between 4th of Julys throughout many many years, the American people willfully gave away every last bit of what they celebrate.

All over America, licensed drivers and their legal spouses will leave their heavily taxed homes and travel in their government approved vehicles to government owned parks to watch licensed technicians launch regulated pyrotechnics into the air; as long as they make it through the security checkpoint. And call it a celebration of freedom!

I saw a sign today that said, “Land of the Free because of The Brave” and I thought, we are no longer either free or brave as a nation. We subject ourselves to laws that infringe every right God ever gave us and surrender our freedom BECAUSE of fear.

  12. @Upaces88:
That is from Abbott and Costello.
Great song, a great time and great generation.

I have been all over the net today, and have to say that this is the most honest post.

  13. It is sad that America`s greatest generation raised up the most worthless generation (Baby-Boomers) in the history of this country. I know of whence I speak because I am one of them. “Yesterdays flower children are now today`s blooming idiots”.
