He was the keynote speaker at an RNC fundraiser. He talked about Vice President Pence not doing more to stop the election certification, according to reports in the Times and the Post. So he is the best messenger for the party?”
Cheney said, “The former president is using the same language he knows provoked violence on January 6. As a party, we need to be focused on the future. We need to be focused on embracing the Constitution, not embracing insurrection. I think it is very important for people to realize that a fundamental part of the Constitution, and of who we are as Americans, is the rule of law, the judicial process. The election wasn’t stolen. There was a judicial process in place. If you attack the judicial process and you attack the rule of law, you aren’t defending the Constitution. You’re at war with the Constitution. We have to embrace the Constitution and put forward positive solutions. We have to be the party of hope, of aspiration, of inspiration, the party that recognizes and understands that the taxes need to be low, the government needs to be limited in size, a strong national defense, though substantive things, not the party of insurrection.”

Trump said Anthony Fauci is ‘full of crap’ in an expletive-laden speech to Republican donors
Former President Donald Trump launched a fierce attack on Dr. Anthony Fauci over the weekend.
Dr. Fauci was singled out by the former president, along with other public figures including Mitch McConnell.
“Have you ever seen anybody that is so full of crap?” Trump said of Fauci, according to the Washington Post.
Former President Donald Trump used a 50-minute speech this weekend to attack a range of public figures including Dr. Anthony Fauci, who he accused of being “full of crap,”the Washington Post reported.
Trump gave the rambling speech at his Mar-A-Lago resort on Saturday evening at an event for wealthy GOP donors, where he attacked Dr. Fauci, who helped co-ordinate the White House’s coronavirus response and frequently drew President Trump’s ire while he was in office.
“Have you ever seen anybody that is so full of crap?” Trump said of Fauci, according to the Post, which cited an attendee at the event.
Trump also mocked Fauci’s baseball skills, the Post and Politico reported, making a jibe at the ceremonial first pitch he threw last year at a game between the Washington Nationals and New York Yankees.
Trump has frequently mocked Fauci for the wayward pitch, and in October last year called it “perhaps the worst first pitch in the history of Baseball!”
Trump also used his speech to label Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell a “dumb son of a b—h,” according to Politico.
President Trump clashed repeatedly over the White House’s coronavirus response with Fauci, who is a member of the coronavirus task force and served as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984.
Fauci had pressed for a hands-on federal response to the coronavirus while Trump, who frequently played down the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic, preferred to leave decision-making to individual states.
In March, Trump said that he ignored Fauci’s advice but decided against firing him.
“I thought rather than firing him, you know, I listened to him, but I didn’t do what he said because frankly his record is not a good record,” Trump said on “The Truth with Lisa Boothe” podcast.
Fauci, who is now President Joe Biden’s chief medical advisor, was also critical of Trump, saying in October he was “absolutely not” surprised that the president had caught coronavirus in September because he had not taken the appropriate medical precautions.
“I was worried that he was going to get sick when I saw him in a completely precarious situation of crowded, no separation between people, and almost nobody wearing a mask,” Fauci told CBS’s “60 Minutes.”

Exclusive: ZOA Slams ‘Deeply Troubling’ Tweets of House Committee, Ilhan Omar on Holocaust Remembrance Day
Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) President Morton Klein blasted the House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFA) as well as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) on Friday, after tweeting out messages on Holocaust Remembrance Day viewed as “reprehensible,” “hateful” and “antisemitic.”
In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, ZOA head Morton Klein expressed his “deep concern” over an official HFA tweet that neglected to “mention Jews and antisemitism,” and instead merely recalled “six million (unidentified) lives” and “general forces” of prejudice and injustice, in addition to a “hateful, antisemitic” tweet by Omar which used Holocaust Remembrance Day to attack the Jewish state.
The official HFA tweet reads:
“On #YomHaShoah we commit ourselves to remembering the 6 million lives extinguished during the holocaust & millions more who survived its cruelty. To honor their memories, we must remain vigilant against the forces of prejudice & injustice or risk reliving the horrors of the past.”
Klein, who was born in a displaced persons camp in Germany and is a child of Holocaust survivors, described the omission as both “incomprehensible and reprehensible.”
“The Nazis and their collaborators murdered six million Jews,” he stressed, “including almost two million Jewish children.”
“Universalizing the Holocaust forgets its victims and ignores the uniquely hateful scourge of antisemitism, which is rearing its ugly head more and more today,” he added, before noting that several Congresspersons also “issued similar tweets, omitting all mention of Jews and antisemitism.”
Klein also slammed Omar for a personal tweet of hers which he also deemed antisemitic.
In the tweet, Omar describes Israel as “a wealthy country that’s getting $3.8 billion a year from America. Yet their Ambassador has the audacity to complain about $150 million going to Palestinian refugees,” before adding, “Shameful.”
”It is deeply troubling that Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) chose Holocaust Remembrance Day to issue another of her hateful, antisemitic and insensitive tweets,” Klein wrote, as he elaborated:
In her Yom HaShoa Day tweet, antisemitic BDS-promoter Omar wrongly referred to the Jewish State as “wealthy,” condemned the military assistance that enables Israel to defend herself from Arab/Muslim terrorists, and even condemned Israel for expressing concern that the Biden administration is renewing sending hundreds of millions of dollars to UNRWA (whom Omar misleadingly referred to as “Palestinian refugees”). Israel-hater Omar ignored the fact that UNRWA, which will receive hundreds of millions of dollars of U.S. taxpayer funds, teaches Arab children to hate and commit violence against Jews and Israel, in their textbooks and schools. UNRWA also has operations with the murderous terrorist group Hamas.
Klein then referred to a “shocking” video posted by a Twitter user in reply to Omar’s tweet, showing Arab school children describing the lessons they learned from their UNRWA school education:
“They teach us that Jews are bad people”; “I am ready to stab a Jew and drive a car over them”: “I will run a car into the Jews”; “We have to constantly stab [the Jews], drive over them and shoot them”; “Stabbing and running over Jews brings dignity to the Palestinian people”; “I’m going to run [the Jews] over and stab them with knives”; “I am prepared to be a suicide bomber”; and “With Allah’s help, I will fight for ISIS.”
Klein also noted the Nazi collaboration with a Palestinian Muslim leader in Mandatory Palestine.
“Hitler and his collaborator [Palestinian leader] Haj Amin Al Husseini also plotted to murder every Jew in the Middle East,” he wrote. “We must never forget those monstrous facts, painfully unique in human history.”
As a result, the ZOA — the nation’s oldest pro-Israel organization — called for corrections to be published.
“ZOA urges the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and anyone else who omitted the Holocaust’s Jewish victims, or the need to stamp out antisemitism today, to issue a corrected statement,” Klein wrote, adding that Omar should also “publicly rescind her ugly statement insensitively issued on Holocaust Remembrance Day.”
In contrast, Klein personally thanked Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Chair of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s GOP members, and its Ranking member, Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX) and others, both Democrats and Republicans, for their “heartfelt statements.”
“Senator Menendez commemorated the unspeakable horrors that the Jews of Europe endured from 1939-1945, and condemned the dangerous current worldwide rise in antisemitism,” he wrote. “The House Foreign Affairs GOP members’ statement, retweeted by Ranking Member McCaul, made it very clear that the Nazis murdered 6 million Jews and millions of others, and honored the survivors and heroes.”

Italy: Protesters throw smoke bombs at police in unauthorised Rome rally against COVID closures
Protesters launched smoke bombs towards riot police during an unauthorised rally near Piazza San Silvestro, in Rome, on Monday. The demonstrators called for the reopening of restaurants, theatres, bars, and gyms amid enforced closures due to the ongoing pandemic.
The protest was organised by the ‘IoApro,’ or ‘I Open’ group, which launched similar demonstrations across the country in recent weeks.
Nearly 50 militants from the neo-fascist CasaPound group showed up holding Italian flags.
Protesters chanted slogans such as ‘Reopen now’ and ‘Freeom’ while holding signs against former Prime Minister of Italy Giuseppe Conte and current Prime Minister Mario Draghi.
Scuffles eventually broke out after police forces halted the rally from moving through the city, leading to CasaPound protesters throwing smoke bombs towards the officers.
At least one protester was arrested, while another protester and a video reporter were injured during the scuffles.

Joe Biden held a meeting on Tuesday at the White House with members of the Congressional Black Caucus to discuss a variety of issues, including how he will allocate money to black communities.
After struggling to read from his notecard and mumbling for several minutes, Biden had enough and told the reporters in the room that it was time to leave.
A reporter asked Biden, “Changing the way that African-Americans interact with police in this country during the Biden era, what can you deliver on, sir?”
Biden responded: “A lot, and I’ll tell ya later, let’s go!”

While speaking to reporters on Monday afternoon at the White House, Biden delivered a word salad while pitching his nearly $2.3 trillion infrastructure plans.
“Taking care of elderly parents and kids with disabilities so people can go to work is investing in infrastructure,” Biden said.
He added: “Chips like the one I have here, these chips, these wafers, are batteries, broadband — it’s all infrastructure.”
It’s unclear what he’s actually talking about.
