I Don’t Get Why So MANY People Have ZERO Fear Of The Lord

I Don’t Get Why So MANY People Have ZERO Fear Of The Lord

So, you all know I went on a trip. The trip was made to console a friend after she lost her husband to ALS. That was my main reason. I just wanted to ‘be there’ for a friend in her time of need.

Everything was going fine…Then, we went to Bar Harbor, Maine… I stepped off a curb and fell HARD on my face. I had to get a few stitches in my lip. It was excruciating pain throughout my whole body to say the least. Here is my photo after the stitches in my lip:

My problem? I really did not inquire of the Lord regarding this trip. I really didn’t. On the trip, everything that could go wrong…DID go wrong. I booked a flight back to AZ and the flight information was ALL wrong: wrong date, time, etc and the flight cost $950. The Airline wouldnt allow me to fly for 24 hours because I was so upset. Can you believe that? They would NOT allow me to fly – I was the one completely inconvenienced but was treated as the menace.. Then, my baggage was lost in the other flight back, not to mention that the plane could not take off because of the landing gear.

Everything went wrong because I acted independently against the Lord. I felt the whole time that I was in the ‘devils playground’. Even tho I love my friend hugely, I did not inquire of the LORD. Hence, disobedience.

If this trip did anything for me, it was to recognize how life is without the fear of the LORD. The bible says that it is a ‘fearful thing to fall into the hands of the LIVING God’. I know this now. Jesus/Yashua said: “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”

This is what is missing in the body of the Lord: The FEAR of the Living God. The only prayer I had in the devils playground was “LORD, HAVE MERCY ON ME”.

We need the fear of the LORD. The fact that HE can create such chaos when we disobey should be enough for any sane person to not ‘test’ the LORD YOUR GOD.

I don’t know how the unbelievers walk around in this life. I really don’t.

  2. bummer. Had assumed you prayed on it and were in a car. I am usually wrong when i assume.
Sent to friend going to cali to tie up loose ends as i dont think he prayed on it yet. I think his loose ends need scissors unstead.
But, folk like us can learn so it will be well after all.

  3. I really did not pray about it very much. These are really wicked times. And, we should really not travel unless the Lord wants us to

  4. Thank you P. For your humility. For your transparency. So glad that a few stitches in your lip was all that happened to you. Thanking HaShem that He brought you home safely. Hope your luggage turns up. If not, those things are replaceable. Love you girl!

  5. Wow Pauli! Thats a terrible experience. Im so sorry for you. It was all out of goodness of your heart. And wanting to help a friend. GOD knows your heart and intention. Sometimes its easy to blame GOD when its his adversary thats to blame! GOD isnt a dictator! But im so glad your back safely . I love ya Pauli!

  6. Pauli, I don’t think it was necessarily disobedience; I think it was more of a spiritual attack and ambush. I’m getting the sense that Satan was looking for an opportunity to attack you out of anger because you went out to comfort a dear friend. That is what I’m hearing in my spirit.

  7. Pauli: When I saw the photo of your cut lip, it reminded me of what happened to me back in September of 1999.

I had been hitchhiking for over three years at the time. I was standing on an on-ramp on I-95 in Lumberton, North Carolina. These two guys walked up to me and started talking to me. I knew something was not right.

All of a sudden, the smaller guy started hitting me with his fists. I just shoved him aside because he wasn’t doing any damage. Then the bigger guy tackled me and started kicking me IN THE MOUTH. The guy probably kicked me several times in the mouth. Then this car pulled up and this tall guy got out and yelled, “Get the hell out of here!” Those two guys ran off.

He asked me if I was okay. I said, yeah and thanked him. He then drove off.

So I grabbed my backpack and started walking north on I-95. I had a bloody nose. This deputy sheriff saw me walking on the interstate, pulled over and picked me up. He asked, “Were you involved in a fight?” I said, “I just got jumped by two guys.”

Then this lady drove up in her car (she saw the whole thing) and told the deputy sheriff that those two guys walked across the interstate and into that motel. She pointed at the motel.

So the deputy sheriff called for backup, we drove to the motel and they brought three people out of this motel room. I identified the two guys who attacked me.
We drove to the sheriff’s office and asked if I wanted to press charges. I said no, because I would have to wait around for the trial or hearing. So I think they charged them with a misdemeanor.

As the deputy sheriff drove me to the sheriff’s office, this scripture welled up within my spirit: The Lord chastens those whom He loves (“For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” Hebrews 12:6)

Why did the Lord chasten me? Because I was grumbling against the Lord. I was saying things like, “Why do I have to do all of this hitchhiking? I am sick of hitchhiking? Why can’t I settle down, get a job and live a normal life?”

GRUMBLING AGAINST THE LORD IS A SIN.

Even though I had a bloody nose, my nose was not broken. The guy kicked me IN THE MOUTH and not the nose. The Lord’s chastenings are absolutely perfect. Or else you could say THE LORD KICKED ME IN THE MOUTH because I was sinning with my mouth.

It was God’s will for me to hitchhike the United States for most of 23 years. Obedience is better than sacrifice. And obedience goes a lot better without grumbling against the Lord.

Jesus Christ was Lord over my hitchhiking.

  8. I get you, Tim.
Lots of people told me this was not the LORD’s chastening. It absolutely WAS.

I also was grumbling: “Why cant I leave this house? Why do I have to live in this desert? Am I supposed to just sit here forever?” “Im going to console my friend”, ‘Im going to the sea”….ETC!!

Its part of the prophetic call to ‘sit and wait’ on the Lord – or in YOUR case: Hitchhike for the Lord

  9. I appreciate that, Fox… But, I was not supposed to travel at all. There are reasons for this.
I absolutely know when I am being chastened.

    Hebrews 12:
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

  10. Absolutely positively AMEN!

Right on target. Right on target. Right on target. (In the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established.)

Read the several definitions for the Hebrew word PAGA:

    PAGA

    Paga (Intercession)

Definition #2: “An intercession that hits the exact mark.”

If we are out of God’s will, we cannot hit the exact mark. Or else you could say, if we are out of God’s will, He cannot use us to hit the exact mark. The Lord has you and David in Arizona where the Lord can use you to hit the exact mark. Praise the Lord!

Example: David was anointed. He was in God’s will. He saw Goliath; Goliath mocked the armies of the living God; this really pissed off David. Because David was in God’s will (protection, covering, anointing), David was able to sling that stone and HIT THE EXACT MARK! Goliath was killed and a Satanic stronghold was taken down.

  12. I disagree Pauli! God doesnt operate that way. Your not Jonah! GOD allows us to choose! If you think he would punish for a choice…you dont know GOD! Doesnt that sound like a monarch dictator? DO AS I SAY OR ELSE? GOD had nothing to do with what happened to you! Id blame SATAN! NOT GOD. God believes in FREEDOM! Satan believes in FIST RULE! Im sorry. Ill never believe God is the dictator you portray him as. Not just you Pauli, but other commenters as well. GOD and JESUS are allowing things here on earth to PLAY OUT. Things WONT get better! When things get so bad, and they will…..Read the BIBLE! Then Christ will come! And END IT! God would likely APPROVE you helping a friend Pauli! Satan would be the one against it. Sorry. Guess ill be leaving here soon. I cant accept this HUMANISTIC DICTATOR view of GOD . He ISNT!

  14. The ark of the covenant looked like it was going to fall off the carriage. The man tried to stop it and thus touched it. God struck him dead. How about sophira & husband God struck dead?
We must obey God period.we all mess up but some learn and others never learn. Thats called pass or fail a test.
This may seem mean spirited but now i realize there were good hearted but disobedient spirited people that wanted prophets of old killed to shut them up. A remnant is sadly small. Few make it. Few few. Many called few chosen.

  15. You are thus called. Whats next on the call? You answer the call. Then God gives instructuctions. How thats obeyed determines choseness.

  16. ‘Guess ill be leaving here soon.’

    Why?
Sorry, Ken… but God has always chastened me.
I cant say He hasnt. He’s my Father.
He’s the only Father I’ve had. My own Father stranded me.

    Stop leaving me . 😦

  17. BUT were you chastened? Thats the real question. Or did Satan not want you to go? He doesnt approve of good deeds! And things do happen in life. coincidences. Theres not always someone to blame. Hit a nail driving and get flat tire? Did GOD plan that? Or did it just happen?

  18. I have to confess that God didnt want me to go.

I still did my ‘good deed’, Ken.
And, God was not unhappy with that.

He was unhappy that I didnt inquire of him regarding the trip. At all.

I dont ‘blame God’. I blame me for just running off.
